'They are shooting something at us that leaves a black trail....Ok it's burst 300yds behind us....but here comes another one, burst 100yrds behind and another...' Before another word was heard. all hell broke loose, it seemed as if a bomb had exploded right under the plane.... I firmly believe we were the first plane to be hit by a rocket in World War II.
